An API (Agente de la Propiedad Inmobiliaria) is a certified real estate agent with specialised professional training. An API has completed formal education that covers not only property sales and mediation, but also the legal, technical, and regulatory aspects of the real estate sector.
APIs must be registered with an Official Association of Real Estate Agents. In addition to the standard brokerage services offered by unlicensed agents, they can also provide official property valuations and legal advice.
